I don’t always agree with Mottle, but I do agree that (1) there hasn’t been enough serious criticism of Trump’s policies or ideas (or absence of them), and (2) Sanders’ supporters have been unwilling to make the candidate take responsibility for the blatantly irresponsible, false and inaccurate comments about Israel he has made. If there was ever any doubt about Sanders views on Israel and it’s neighbors, here’s one fact that ought to clinch it, even if it were the only fact. When asked who his advisors regarding Israel and the Palestinians, he named James Zogby. Who is this? He was a paid flack for the Palestine Liberation Organization, now called the Palestinian Authority. What’s someone like that doing as an advisor to a presidential candidate? —Rabbi Kerry Baker
