I’m listening to KVET The Zone sports radio in my car. The three geniuses who host the afternoon Sports Buffet show, are discussing the recent racist rants of Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling which were revealed by TMZ the other day. Craig Way, “the voice of the Longhorns,” the pappa genius, just equated slavery with indentured servitude. John Medani, the momma genius, opined that the ONLY reason other NBA owners might take action against Sterling is the money their teams will lose if sponsors pull out of their links to the NBA. And Rod Babers, the baby genius, an African American who calls himself the Black Nostradamos, declared that Sterling’s comments, while despicable, should not disqualify him from owning an NBA FRANCHISE, in a league in which 80% of the “employees” are African American, on the grounds that “it’s a free country” and Sterling is entitled to express his bigoted opinions.
